Ebright Talk Show
The Ebright Talk Show is a unique program organized by Ebright Public Speaking Academy, designed to provide young students with the opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills in a professional environment. Through this program, students discuss current, relevant topics such as artificial intelligence, beauty, and self-identity, while interacting with well-known personalities like Ara Aziz and Alyssa Dezek. The goal is to help students refine their communication abilities, build confidence, and develop leadership skills through practical experience in a talk show setting.

This program is open to students who have participated in Ebright classes, offering them the chance to be part of a studio recording and receive constructive feedback from experienced coaches. It provides students with practical public speaking experience, boosts their confidence through media exposure, and incorporates interactive elements like games and group discussions for a fun and effective learning process.

Dhiya Humaira Shines on the International Stage: Winning the 'You Aced It' Award in Jakarta!
Congratulations to Dhiya Humaira for winning the "You Aced It" Award in Storytelling at the Youth Entrepreneur XFactor in Jakarta! This international competition recognizes young entrepreneurs aged 8 to 17 for their creativity and innovation, and Dhiya Humaira wowed the judges with her storytelling skills. We are incredibly proud of her achievement and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!
Umar Wins Silver at World Youth STEM Innovation in Medan!
Our Danau Kota student, Umar, joined the World Youth STEM Invention Innovation in Medan, Indonesia, representing Alam Shah Science School to present his Project - Vital Flame! He got the silver medal, beating up to 70 schools from Malaysia and Indonesia. His mom said he got his confidence to present by attending Ebright classes and he followed what the coach taught him. We are so proud of him!
Ebright's First World Scholar’s Cup Delegation Heads to the Global Stage!
Congratulations to our amazing Scholars — Sathes, Seshasri, and Myra — for winning a total of 18 medals across all categories and qualifying for the Global Rounds! This remarkable achievement marks a proud milestone as Ebright’s very first delegation to the international stage of the World Scholar’s Cup. From essays and debates to collaborative challenges, their months of dedication, teamwork, and personal growth have truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of how far they’ve come — and we can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next!
Second Time In The Stars
At the Star Education Fair 2025, Ebright Public Speaking Academy Managing Director Kevin Khoo highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment for students to confidently speak English without fear of judgment. He emphasized that encouragement—not constant correction—is key to helping children build fluency and self-assurance, urging parents to provide public speaking platforms to nurture these skills. Ebright students Dhiya Humaira and Seshasri Rajan, both 12, echoed this sentiment, crediting their improvement to consistent practice, reading, and participation in English-based competitions. Along with teammate Sathes Rajan, 13, they recently won the World Scholar’s Cup Kuala Lumpur round and will advance to the global finals in Bangkok. Their success reflects Ebright’s mission to empower young voices through confidence-driven speaking opportunities.
The Star For the Third Time
Ebright was proud to be part of the Star Education Fair 2025 at IOI Grand Putrajaya, where students like Azhri explored options such as engineering at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) and business at Universiti Malaya (UM). Azhri shared the importance of researching fields of interest and choosing a path driven by passion to ensure long-term motivation and success. The two-day fair, organized by Star Media Group, featured over 70 exhibitors and 105 booths offering a wide range of tertiary and TVET programmes, scholarships, and financial aid. Ebright joined other top institutions and newcomers to help students make informed educational choices. Visitors also enjoyed career talks, exciting giveaways, and free admission, making it an inspiring platform for future-ready learners.

Ebright Sdn Bhd is honored to be named the Rising Star Grand Winner at the Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) 2022, in recognition of our mission to boost children's confidence through dynamic public speaking programmes. Our Managing Director, Kevin Khoo, shared that since becoming a private limited company in 2021, Ebright has set its sights on continued growth with a future goal of going public. SOBA 2022 celebrated outstanding Malaysian entrepreneurs and SMEs, including top winners like NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd for its innovations in public transportation systems, Nippon Sushi for its expansion in the halal F&B space, and respected leaders like Datuk Sim Leong Thun and Datuk Dylan Chui. A student of SK USJ 12, her poised delivery, fluent English, and modest charm earned a standing ovation and quickly went viral on TikTok, garnering over 1.3 million views. Zaza shared that she never feels fear on stage—a testament to the power of building confidence through public speaking from a young age.

Ebright was proud to be part of the Star Education Fair 2025 at IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Centre, a premier event offering students a gateway to scholarships, top university programmes, and innovative learning experiences. Visitors explored opportunities from 70 leading local and international institutions, including UM, UniKL, TAR UMT, and Oxford Brookes University. Highlights included ORCA’s neurofeedback tech for cognitive training, MCMC’s fully-funded scholarships in key future-ready fields, and fact-checking initiatives like JomCheck. Attendees also enjoyed career talks, interactive activities, and prize giveaways such as iPads and Nintendo Switches. As one of Malaysia’s longest-running education expos, the fair continues to connect passionate learners with impactful educational pathways.

Nine-year-old Nur Ayeesha Azzaleea Mohamed Mukhriz, known as Zaza, continues to shine as a rising young speaker, recently captivating a crowd of top entrepreneurs at the Majlis Inspirasi Kerjaya in Terengganu. Invited to share her experience using Medifeet shoes, Zaza confidently delivered a solo 20-minute presentation, impressing the audience with her stage presence and English fluency—despite it being her first time speaking before a fully adult audience. Her mother, Nonie Sarawanie, who is also a teacher, highlighted how Zaza’s communication skills were nurtured through role-playing at home, consistent support, and public speaking classes in Subang Jaya. Known for her entertaining American and British accents, Zaza has inspired many children to embrace English confidently, while also proving her strength in Bahasa Melayu with wins in storytelling competitions. Nonie hopes their story encourages more parents to support their children's passions and confidence-building journeys.

Her poised delivery in English received thunderous applause and went viral on TikTok with over 1.3 million views. Zaza shared that she remains calm on stage by visualizing the audience playfully and prepares through regular rehearsals, often coached by her supportive mother, who is also a teacher. Recognizing her daughter’s passion early, Zaza’s mother enrolled her in public speaking classes in Subang Jaya—an environment that helped build her confidence and refine her skills. A bilingual achiever, Zaza is fluent in both English and Malay, and has won awards in storytelling competitions. Her journey reflects the powerful impact of encouragement, consistent practice, and a nurturing environment in shaping young communicators.
Parenthood in the stars
At Ebright, children don’t just learn to speak—they learn to shine. Since 2016, Ebright has transformed over 1,050 students weekly into confident communicators through small-group public speaking classes led by certified coaches. With a fun, interactive syllabus and monthly external showcases, students build real confidence while performing in front of live audiences. Ebright’s partnership with Trinity College London also offers students a chance to earn a prestigious international certification in communication skills. More than a centre, Ebright is a vibrant community where young voices are empowered, nurtured, and celebrated—unlocking each child’s full potential, one speech at a time.
The stars in Universiti Malaya
Ebright was honored to take part in the English Carnival, a dynamic event supported by industry partner GO International Group Dotcom, known for its work in digital content and educational collaboration. Alongside respected organizations like Khazanah Nasional, GRADUAN Aspire, TERAS Teknologi, and MoOne Academy, Ebright led engaging public speaking sessions that allowed students to explore language skills, career insights, and networking opportunities. The carnival also welcomed participation from various embassies, creating a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and career inspiration. It was a meaningful event where students showcased their talents and connected with global and local opportunities.
The Star at Public Speaking 101
On 8 February 2024, Ebright proudly hosted a “Public Speaking 101” workshop for 40 MPU students and 5 staff members. Led by senior coach Mr. Gautham Palaniandy (Mr. G), who brings 7 years of experience and a background in Psychology (Communication Studies), the session focused on essential public speaking skills such as body language, eye contact, hand gestures, and relaxation techniques. The interactive workshop empowered participants with real-world communication tools and concluded with Mr. G inviting interested students to explore part-time facilitator roles at Ebright. The session, recognized by the Student Services Department and Centre of General Studies, was a transformative experience in building students' confidence and communication skills.
MAB x Ebright: Wonders of the World 2023
In October 2023, the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) and Ebright Public Speaking Academy joined forces for the Grandest Annual Public Speaking Showcase at Damansara Performing Arts Centre. Over 250 participants and more than 1,000 attendees came together to celebrate stories, confidence, and inclusion under the theme “Wonders of the World.”
The event featured inspiring speeches by Ebright students, engaging sponsor booths, and impressive student performances that highlighted talent, creativity, and courage—especially from visually impaired participants. Organising Chairperson Ms Athirah described the showcase as more than just an event, but a celebration of voices and a powerful reminder that when education and inclusivity meet, everyone wins.

The Stars on Ebright Toastmasters Club
The Ebright Toastmasters Club serves as an empowering platform for youth and adults to refine their public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive, structured environment. As part of the global Toastmasters International network, the club offers members the opportunity to practice impromptu speaking, deliver prepared speeches, and take on leadership roles—all under the guidance of experienced mentors. Ebright Toastmasters fosters confidence, clarity, and connection, helping individuals grow personally and professionally while becoming impactful communicators in any setting.
